Objectives By the end of this lesson, students will familiarize themselves with aspects of Vietnamese culture. Then students will be able to talk about what they and their friends did in the past and when. 1.1 Language knowledge and skills Vocabulary: have a sleepover, go camping, have a barbecue, sing karaoke, go bowling, make paper crafts. Sentence patterns: I went camping last week. 1.2. Competences Self-control and independent learning: practice reading and perform speaking tasks. Communication and collaboration: work in pairs or groups to talk about what they and their friends did in the past and when. Critical thinking and creativity: learn how to talk about what they and their friends did in the past and when. 1.3.
